Mon 19 February 2018 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Suramare - Seadya Gaon 24, Tel Aviv,
On Monday, 19.2, we will have a lecture by Eric Rikin on the Little Prince and the hidden things in Suramare, in a different think & drink meeting.
What does the children’s book in the world teach us about human nature, the meaning of life, love that is independent of anything, values and lies we tell ourselves to survive.
The lecture will unravel the magical threads connecting the journeys of the little prince to the principles of existential philosophy of the schools of Captain Kierkegaard, Jean Paul Sartre and Albert Camus: philosophers who sought to find a meaning for human existence in the post-God era.
Iri Rikin is a television director, lecturer in philosophy, culture and literature at the Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University’s external studies program, as well as a literary critic in Haaretz and Kol Yisrael.
The meeting will begin at 19:30 and open doors at 18:30
