Eli Degibri and his quartet in a new show as part of the European tour of the summer of 2018.
Upon their return from the main stages of the leading jazz festivals, the quartet comes to perform original materials from seven of the seven songs of Djibri, and also songs from the eighth album Soul Station, which will be released in October this year – a tribute to the great saxophonists and composers Hank Mobley.
With a career of over twenty years, saxophonist and composer Eli Djibri has established himself as one of the world’s leading jazz artists today. Along with influential jazz icons such as Eritha Franklin, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, Djebri was invited to play in the White House with US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to mark International Jazz Day.
