For those who are not in the loop, here’s a flash: France has long been no longer exclusively focused on house funky and danceable electronic music – and like most of the world, even in the homeland of the baguette and the free constitution, the streets are buzzing with spicy hip-hop, dangerous raves and music from the Middle East and North Africa.
Accordingly and in accordance with this, and in collaboration with the French Institute in Israel – for three nights at the beginning of December, an intercontinental bridge will be stretched on the Jaffa – Montmartre road axis and representatives from the eclectic and bubbling fringes of the musical/cultural scene in France will pass over it in honor of Vikander, who is both profound and wild, of parties, performances and conversations about music ~

✧ Lazuli / Lazuli – the young star with the air of style, uncompromising attitude and charisma that is difficult to transcribe is making significant waves as a leading and especially sharp flag bearer of Bayla Funk and Dumbo in the European distribution of South America. The rapper/singer with roots from Chile comes after a hot project produced by the legendary Neo Ferrarao/avant-garde reggaeton producer King Dudo (PNL, J Balvin and many other good ones) to give it a live rap with the backing of the local dumbo representatives – Babylulu!

✧ Olympe4000 / Olympe4000 – one of the shining stars in the sky of the Parisian club scene, a free and unbridled selector on the bouncy spectrum of the club, a social/cultural entrepreneur and DJ who already made a name for herself at the barfi last Purim, returned to us for another round – this time for a debut release and after a residency at the Parisian club The veteran Badabum. Olymp will be hosted by the sister with the Frankish roots – Chalant – as part of the line/blog frequency

✧ Ivan Smagghe – among the top producers and selectors working in France today – for many years in a row continues to lead and deliver the goods when it comes to house on the left/bellary/rock and rolly side of the map. Ivan will rise to the position in Romano Laulnighter Unstoppable with Nick Arizona aka Niv Arzi (Red Xz) by his side, who together will present their new joint blog/home – Amor Fati.

✧ Cheb Gero – former record dealer, deep digger, selector and chronic collector as he says, Cheb Gero (“Cheb” = young in Arabic and a traditional prefix for the name of the best Algerian Ray singers, “Gero” after the legendary noise band from Japan) Aka Fabrice Gerry comes to Nueva for a guided and careful listening session to his rich and rare selection – which, as his name suggests, stretches from Asia through the Levant to North Africa, from the 1960s to the present day.
