Revealing complexities both on and off the island, El Presente En Cuba (The Present In Cuba) by the photographer Gili Azgad explored aspects of Cuba not easily accessed by foreigners. Born from indigenous, African and European roots, divergent politics and limitations in communication and commerce, the Cuba revealed in this exhibition going beyond the folklore and offers a new insight into its current reality that feels like a journey in time.
