There are not many singers-writers in independent Israeli music who are endowed with the wisdom of precision and refinement. Cohen, who released her second album “Two Hearts” at the beginning of the year, was gifted with it. She knows how to inject as much emotional charge as possible into as little musical and verbal sentences as possible. Her songs are made up of small melodic and textual structures, which hang side by side on the thread of the song, like a string of pearls.
