Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung - Sderot Rothschild 11, Tel Aviv,

From morning to evening, talk to us non-stop about economic growth.

Growth, which means an increase in domestic product, has become the most common indicator of the state of the economy. Governments are very keen on growth, the Prime Minister repeatedly defines it as a “central target” and in recent decades this has been the stated objective of economic policy.

We are assured that growth always brings prosperity and prosperity is enjoyed by all.

And yet – in light of human challenges, environmental crises and social problems – the criticism of growth is growing as a major goal or a target in general. An alternative to the concept of “growing economy” is the concept of sustainability.

Join us for an evening of study and discussion around the question of growth and sustainability!
The event is open to the public, but is subject to pre-registration.
