Tue 10 July 2018 | 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
The Library - Ahad Haam 9, Tel Aviv,

As part of its efforts to improve the quality of life of the residents and to reduce their loneliness, the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality initiated a technological event to encourage the development of technological platforms for the third age, while reducing the sense of loneliness among the residents and creating a response to their needs.

We will meet at the library, a center for urban innovation, an evening in which we will present the research process that was carried out, and we will describe the urban challenges in which we dealt with Hakaton.

The participants will be able to sit around tables with our content experts on each topic, hear in greater detail about the technological opportunities and hear from veteran residents about their personal challenges. Around the participating tables they can ask questions and hold an open discussion with the experts and the veteran residents.

Topics for the tables:
1. Entrepreneurship and employment
2. Communication from home and activity to the home
3. Adjustment of transportation
4. Significant leisure and culture
5. Preserving independence by preventing falls
Here’s what we plan to involve:

18:30 – Gathering
19:00 – Opening remarks and presentation of the research findings of the Innovation Team of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality on the challenges of the third age
19:45 – “Let’s talk about it!” – Round tables for an open discussion on technological solutions to unlock the challenges presented
