On Thursday, 19.7, we will be hosting Dr. Liat Yakir at the Think & Drink meetings at Dizy Frishdon for a lecture on stopping aging and eternal life.
The achievements of science and medicine over the last 150 years are breathtaking: antibiotics, vaccines and organ transplants – these are just examples. But science and medicine still have not cracked the biggest secret of all, the secret to eternal life – a challenge that has preoccupied mankind for thousands of years. Can we stop the aging process?
And will immortality be real reality in the future and not science fiction? All this in a lecture at Dizzy Frishdon.
Dr. Liat Yakir is an expert in molecular genetics and emotion researcher and has a PhD from the Department of Molecular Genetics at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where her research focuses on genetics, biochemistry and evolution.
