The image of the dog occupies the world of animation a lot – as a favorite hero to identify with, as a prey animal hidden beneath the surface of civilization, as a funny creature in a variety of shapes and colors and more.
The collection contains wild, dark, dramatic and funny animated films, award winners and network stars, which outline the wide range of representation of dogs – from robots to wolves,
Between cuteness and disgust, between love and death. The collection was curated by Uri Goldberg of the Toho Collective.
The program is intended for ages 14 and older, and has two screenings: a regular screening on August 11, and one festive and crazy screening on August 10 with free entry at HaPisga Garden in Jaffa!
Isn’t it required that a screening that deals with dogs have dogs in the audience? So for the special event on 10.8 all dog lovers and owners are invited along with their dogs! Movies about dogs, for dogs.
The event, which is held in collaboration with the Old Jaffa Development Company and under the auspices of Lidor Elements –
Importer and marketer of Sarasto collars for dogs and cats, will include the screening of the films dealing with it
In the dogs (a group that is about an hour long), photograph magnets that will walk around the summit garden and take pictures of the visitors
and their dogs, as well as a cartoon attraction – cartoonists Uri Fink, Boris Dickerman and Yuval Caspi
The attendees will be offered a live drawing of a joint cartoon of themselves with their dog.

התכנית מיועדת לבני 14 ומעלה, ויש לה שתי הקרנות: הקרנה רגילה ב11.8, והקרנה אחת חגיגית ומשוגעת ב10.8 בכניסה חופשית בגן הפסגה ביפו!
הרי לא מתבקש שבהקרנה שעוסקת בכלבים יהיו כלבים בקהל? אז לאירוע המיוחד ב10.8 מוזמנים כל אוהבי ובעלי הכלבים יחד עם כלביהם! סרטים על כלבים, למען כלבים.
האירוע, אשר מתקיים בשיתוף החברה לפיתוח יפו העתיקה ובחסות חברת לידור אלמנטס –
יבואנית ומשווקת קולר סרסטו לכלבים ולחתולים, יכלול את הקרנת הסרטים העוסקים
בכלבים (מקבץ שאורכו כשעה), צלם מגנטים שיסתובב בגן הפסגה ויצלם את המבקרים
וכלביהם, וכן אטרקציה מצוירת – ציירי הקריקטורות אורי פינק, בוריס דיקרמן ויובל כספי
יציעו לנוכחים ציור לייב של קריקטורה משותפת שלהם עם כלבם.
