ד The Dokaviv Festival is coming to the Negev for the seventh year! ✦
Special screenings of documentaries from Israel and the world in Yeruham, Mitzpe Ramon and Arad, meetings with creators, master classes for youth, and a variety of additional and surprising events for all ages!
A little of what awaits us this year in Docaviv Negev>
Views of Yeruham and the Negev: Local Portrait – The opening night of the festival is an opportunity to celebrate the regional documentary produced in a workshop for documentary filmmakers in Yeruham. Four short works focusing on fascinating local heroes.
Youth master class with rapper Izzy – a one-time opportunity to meet Izzy face to face, one of the busiest and most respected musicians in the country. At the meeting he will talk about the hip hop scene in Israel and his personal creative and writing process.
✦ Screening of the film “The Blessing of Yamana” – about the 82-year-old miracle-causing righteousness from Sderot: the ceremonies, the culture she preserves and her journey to inherit her mystical power to one of her daughters. The screening will be accompanied by a meeting with director Ilanit Suissa
✦ Radiations for the whole family on Hanukkah – “Save the Wildlife”, a documentary series that follows the only wildlife hospital of its kind in the country. After the cold, a meeting will be held with the creators of the series. “Kinneret – Sea of Life”, an exciting and breathtaking cinematic experience created by Moshe Alpert.
✦ Rap cat screening of the film “Los Angeles – South”, a comedy-documentary musical, by directors Sharon Yaish and Golan Reese. The film is supported by Doku-Komi – a joint venture of the network franchise, the new film and television foundation and the Dokaviv festival.

הקרנות מיוחדות של סרטים דוקומנטריים מהארץ ומהעולם בירוחם, מצפה רמון וערד, מפגשים עם יוצרים, כיתות אמן לנוער, ושלל אירועים נוספים ומפתיעים לכל הגילאים!

✦ מראות ירוחם והנגב: פורטרט מקומי – ערב הפתיחה של הפסטיבל הוא הזדמנות לחגוג את התוצרת הדוקומנטרית האזורית שנולדה בסדנה ליוצרים תיעודיים בירוחם. ארבע יצירות קצרות המתמקדות בגיבורים מקומיים מרתקים.
✦ כיתת אמן לנוער עם הראפר איזי – הזדמנות חד-פעמית לפגוש פנים מול פנים את איזי, אחד מהמוזיקאים העסוקים והמוערכים בארץ. במפגש הוא יספר על סצנת ההיפ הופ בארץ ועל תהליך היצירה והכתיבה האישי שלו.
✦ הקרנה של הסרט “הברכה של יאמנה” – על הצדיקה מחוללת הניסים בת ה-82 משדרות: הטקסים, התרבות שהיא משמרת והמסע שלה להורשת כוחה המיסטי לאחת מבנותיה. ההקרנה תלווה במפגש עם הבמאית אילנית סוויסה
✦ הקרנות לכל המשפחה בחנוכה – “להציל את חיות הבר”, סדרה תיעודית העוקבת אחר בית החולים לחיות בר היחיד מסוגו בארץ. לאחר ההקרה יערך מפגש עם יוצרי הסדרה. “כנרת – ים של חיים”, חוויה קולנועית מרגשת ועוצרת נשימה מבית היוצר של משה אלפרט.
✦ הקרנת ראפ קאט של הסרט “לוס אנג’לס – דרום”, מחזמר קומי דוקומנטרי, של הבמאים שרון יעיש וגולן רייז. הסרט נתמך ע”י דוקו-קומי – מיזם משותף של הזכיינית רשת, הקרן החדשה לקולנוע וטלוויזיה ופסטיבל דוקאביב.
