The American rock and metal band “Disturbed” has confirmed that it will arrive in Israel for the first time, for one concert to be held on July 2, 2019 in Live Park, Rishon Letzion.

Disturbed is one of the largest rock bands in the world today, with Simon and Garfinkel’s The Sound Of Silence singing a long time ago in the Galgalatz playlist and becoming one of the most successful ballads in the world in the last decade with nearly half a billion views on the official YouTube video.

The band was founded in 1994 by vocalist David Dreyman, bassist Steve Kamak (who has since been replaced by John Moyer), guitarist Dan Dongan and drummer Mike Rangen.

Dreiman, who has become the most identified element of the band with his unique singing style, is a Jew, from a family of Holocaust survivors whose grandfather, grandmother and younger siblings all live in Israel. He studied at Jewish schools in Los Angeles and studied for a year at the Neve Zion Yeshiva in Jerusalem.

The band’s debut album, The Sickness, released in 2000, quickly became one of the most successful rock bands in the United States and sold more than 5 million copies, with Down With The Sickness and Stupefy being two of the most successful songs in the most popular sales charts In the world in that year, when the clips to them were awarded to many screenwriters and were even incorporated into several soundtracks for successful films.

Believe, the album released two years later continued the meteoric success of the band, and sold over 2 million copies, the single Prayer from the album became one of the most successful singles of the band and reached the list of the top five singles in the United States that year.

The success of the ensemble continued with the album Ten Thousand Fists in 2005 and became the band’s third in a series that crossed the 2 million mark sold. The theme song of the album was released as a single, as well as the Stricken songs and the band’s cabaret for Genesis’s Land Of Confusion 80s.

The band’s fourth album is also considered the worst of the band’s albums – Indestructible released in 2008 is considered an adult and the album saw the ensemble emerging from the shadow of the genre “Nu Metal” to which the band was associated in the past. The theme song of the album was released as a single, and Inside The Fire, a song about suicide among teenagers.

In 2010, the band released its fifth album – Asylum, which also reached number one in the American album sales charts, from which the singles Animal, Wwarrior and Another Way to Die were released. The album also includes Never Again, which dealt with the Holocaust and the Nazi atrocities against the Jewish people.

After the release of the album, the band announced that it was taking a break from activity, and during that time the band members worked with different musical ensembles, when Drayman set up and released an album with a device called Device that came out in 2013 and included guest appearances by artists such as System Of A Down. Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold and Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine.

In 2015, the band returned to full activity and released the immortalized album, which again reached the top spot in the American sales charts. The album, which was the band’s fifth most acclaimed achievement, made the band the third band in the history of the American music industry to achieve a similar achievement – with only Metallica and Dave Mathews Band doing so.

The album includes a symphony of the band for the classic song “The Sound of Silence” by Simone and Grupankel, with the clip winning a huge success, as well as making the band sing in the framework of Conan O’Brien’s successful talk show.
