Yung Yidish TLV - Levinsky 108, Tel Aviv,

Di Gassin Trio hosts the violinist Yoni Bett.

Just before we take off for performances in Austria, we will reach Yiddish in Tel Aviv for a show that is all Eastern European celebration!

With their love for the world of Klezmer and Balkan, the members of the ensemble face the question: “How can this be possible? To preserve culture and renew culture?”
They create interesting arrangements for the old ‘old’ ones but are not necessarily familiar.
They write new adaptations and compositions, which they see as a duty to renew.
‘Di Gassin Trio’ (from Yiddish, Trio Streets)
Acoustic ensemble – Israeli folk indie, influenced by Balkan and Eastern European music, and combines elements of jazz, Arabic music and classical music.

Gal Klein – clarinet, poetry and Yiddish
Janusz Horowitz – accordion and Bulgarian decorations
Meidad Cohen – double bass, bass and electric guitars for the audience
Uri Naveh – percussion and model of the house
Yoni Bett – violin, singing and gifts from the USA
