Where did the techno come from? Today it’s a global phenomenon with producers, DJs and clubs from Los Angeles to Tokyo, but that was not always the case. In this lecture we will find out how the style was born, what conditions and influences that caused three friends from Detroit to create this innovative music in the eighties. We’ll listen to the first bits of techno and find out how it came to the world.
