Barby - Derech Kibuts Galuyot 52, Tel Aviv,

From the Center for Contemporary Arts – Duck in Kiev – Dakh Daughters, actresses who created a unique “Freak Cabaret” band that is one of the strangest, most electrifying and provocative performances today.

Seven actresses took the tools into their hands to create a show that deals with love, freedom and beauty and at the end of the day – its goal is to save the world. Duck Dutters creates the atmosphere of a French living room where Amanda Palmer and her can connect with Marilyn Manson. The women, equipped with strings, keyboards and percussion instruments, shake the audience like the thunder of a metal show, and the second director moves from anger to kindness, turning into Hollywood stars in hedonism who just want to enjoy the good life.

Imagine-seven young women made up like silent movie actresses with white faces, smoky eyes and lips smeared with bright red. But they are far from quiet when they burst into the stage screaming, singing, dancing, music and stunts that leave the audience open-mouthed. The phenomenon of Duck Dutters lies in their oil – they are the girls of the theater, soul actresses, who turn every musical piece into a real theatrical celebration.

Duck Dautrez was born in 2012 at the Duck Theater in Kiev, the same theater where the musical ensemble DakhaBrakha was born and created an unforgettable performance in Israel a year ago. Apart from the fact that the two ensembles have a joint musician – cellist and vocalist – Nina Garenetska, one can not miss the similarity between these two ludicrous, precise and rare projects.
