CONFUSION & Niogi – A reunion show! Seventeen years after being considered the wonder children of the Israeli fusion, the members of the breakthrough Israeli fusion band come together for another show!

Confusion was established in 1995 by Itai Lasky (guitar) and Assaf Koffler (bass), with an average age of 16 years old. Their incredible performances and great music managed to reach wide audiences beyond the Israeli jazz scene. In 1998, the band recorded the album “Custom Made”, which is considered one of the most successful Israeli fusion albums and performed, among others, at the Red Sea Jazz Festival 1998 and 1999, at Beit Lessin and in various clubs in Tel Aviv, and throughout the country.

Niogi, an Israeli  instrumental band, they come from different directions: Guy Shkolnik (piano, synths, Seaboard)  had at some point to go deeper into the world of the classical masters and ended up with a PhD on the music of Bach. Omri Abramov (saxophones and EWI) came as a rising force from the vibrant Israeli jazz scene, and long-time working with international songwriter Idan Raichel. They met in 2011. Shared tastes and vision, had instant musical chemistry, and decided to start a band.
