About the Koby Mandel Foundation:
The Koby Mandell Foundation helps bereaved mothers, fathers, widows, orphans and siblings to rebuild their lives and create meaning out of suffering.
Rabbi Seth and Sherri Mandell established the Koby Mandell Foundation in 2001 after their 13 year old son Koby Mandell and his friend Yosef Ishran were brutally murdered by terrorists near their home in Israel.
Their personal loss led the Mandells to envision a system of support programs that they hoped would make a real difference in the lives of people who had lost parents, children or siblings through terrorism.
The Mandells took their vision to professional therapists and grief counselors for refinement. The Koby Mandell Foundation soon developed a three-tiered model of support including informal therapeutic programming, recreation/ relaxation programming, and community building /social integration programming.
Today, The Koby Mandell Foundation is the largest provider of emotional support services for the thousands of bereaved Israelis who have lost an immediate family member to terror via multi-faceted therapeutic programs.
About Avi Liberman:
Avi Liberman’s quirky style has made him a favorite in comedy clubs from Los Angeles to New York. Born in Israel, raised in Texas, having gone to college in New York, and now living in Los Angeles, his style is a winning combination of life experiences and topical issues told through a varied blend of characters and voices with worldwide expertise.
Avi has performed stand-up comedy on CBS’s “Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson on comedy central’s “Premium Blend” and “make me laugh” as well as NBC’s “Friday Night!” his acting credits include “Dave’s World” CBS, “Boston Common” NBC and “Andytown USA” Comedy Central. Avi can be seen regularly on e! As one of their frequent guests on their very popular countdown series. He has also guest starred on “Movies at Our House,” as well as having shot a pilot titled “Through the Keyhole” both on AMC. He has also been heard on radio stations across the country. A successful commercial actor, Avi has appeared in spots for “Mercedes,” “LA Cellular,” “Miller Lite” and most recently “Starbucks” and “Net Zero.” He has appeared at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Festival.
Since 2001, Avi has successfully arranged widely acclaimed stand-up comedy tours in Israel to help boost morale while donating all of the proceeds to a charity. The successful “Comedy for Koby” tour is now a multi-annual event, benefitting The Koby Mandell Foundation.

Kerem House is a community-led cultural space in the heart of Tel Aviv, organised by young people who wish to create a vibrant Jewish community, for themselves and for their peers. Since its establishment, Kerem House has fed and hosted over 3,000 Israelis, olim and visitors over the course of 300+ Shabbat dinners, holiday meals and a variety of communal events and activities.
