Recruiting consciousness and thinking for healing processes
A cinematic meeting with Dr. Oded Sarel, MD, electro-physiologist, jurist. He worked as a doctor and researcher for many years at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. Developed the “Fourth Knowledge” workshop to raise consciousness in order to reach beyond the limits of reality familiar to us, to recovery processes beyond “reasonable.” Accompanies chronically ill patients to become a “medical challenge” and lead themselves to recovery.
We all know the placebo effect when patients are given a tablet without any medication – an effect that is not considered important by medicine. It is created when the patient believes he has received a real drug. This belief and thought – cause our brain to mobilize meaningful healing processes in our bodies. Processes that often lead to recovery, or at least greatly increase almost any treatment we receive. Can we create within ourselves such processes by mobilizing consciousness? How will we do that? How is this preserved? How will we know what is right for us – what treatment and which treatment? What is my ‘treatment map’?
