This time we are honored to welcome German Parliament Member Michaela Engelmeier.
We will discuss:
– how new political challenges in Europe, especially Germany and in the US could influence Israel and the relationship with these countries
– whether Democracy is at stake in Europe/Germany in the light of raising right-wing and populism throughout Europe (Le Pen, Orban, AfD, …)

Michaela Engelmeier is a German politician (SPD). She is in charge of the sport commission in the German Parliament and member of the German-Israeli Parliament group in the Bundestag. Michaela regularly invites students from schools and universities to the German Parliament and discusses current political issues with them. She is a determined fighter against antisemitism and racism.
