Brushes with Cancer is a six month program that creates unexpected intersections between individuals touched by cancer and artists.
The mission is to provide psycho-social support to those touched by cancer to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, their family and loved ones, through a unique art experience.
Brushes with Cancer is a program of the non-profit Twist Out Cancer which was founded in 2011. Since the program’s inception in 2013, it has successfully launched in Chicago, Detroit and Toronto. In 2018, the program is expanding to Tel Aviv, Montreal and Philadelphia.
