Mon 24 December 2018 | 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
ZOA - Daniel Frisch Street 1, Tel Aviv,

On December 24 we will meet for an Indian film evening. Starting at the stomach, you will come hungry because at 20:00 a traditional Indian bowl will be waiting for you, conducted by chef Rajesh Goffi who came to Israel from the Carla region of India. Raj promises to bring you back to the tastes of India without compromises and compromises. And if you have not yet visited India – this is a great opportunity to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine.

And then, when your stomach is full, we’ll move on to the artistic part of the evening and watch the film: Monsoon Wedding!

At exactly 21:00 [Israel time, not India time], we will screen Mira Nair’s film about a well-to-do, modern Indian family in which the industrialized Western world mixes with old and strong traditions. The heroine, Adity, decides to end her affair with a television producer for a match arranged by her parents with a young Indian boy who comes with his whole family from Texas. During the days of preparation and wedding, painful family secrets are revealed, new Romanians, old loves are given more validity, and spectacular colors surround each other.

Thanks!
