After performances in London and Berlin and India, Dov Balo’s wild improvisation project returns to one show in Tel Aviv for free (!)
Blind Orchestra is an international improvisation project that operates in 9 cities around the world and is based on a simple and unique improvisation concept: All musicians play with eye coverings, except for the conductor who is responsible for the orchestration. With the touch of a wand, the conductor symbolizes the musicians when to play / sing and when to stop. The musicians do not know when they will play and the conductor does not know what they will play.
Each performance has a new and fresh composition of 8 of the best improvisers, and with the concept you can break through the limitations of a regular jam session. The performances are a journey into the unknown that creates a unique experience for both musicians and audience, which gets a fresh perspective on the source of music.
