In the fourth grade I was not accepted into the school band.
At the audition we sang “God gave you a gift” and something that God did not give me as a gift was self-confidence.
I knew deep down that I was good, I knew that if only I had the courage I would be accepted but I remained standing there with butterflies that were not mine,
Butterflies of those who got to proudly wear the white uniform shirts and sing in front of the whole school.
Fast forward almost 20 years (wow I’m old), the makers have flipped.
The anxieties are still here to stay but today’s Ron knows how to take a deep breath and jump, no matter how deep.
Not completely alone yet but he will get there.
Why all this introduction?
After my 27th birthday I realized that things are accomplished only when you do them.
