★★ ATESIB! African Film Festival #4 ★★
October 11-13 | Inbal Dance Theater + Anis Center
The only festival of its kind in Israel that brings to the big screen the best creators in the contemporary African cinema scene. A selection of films created by African men and women from the continent and the diaspora will be screened throughout the three days of the festival, including films from Congo, Ghana, Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, Rwanda and more.
The films screened at the festival allow a rare opportunity to get to know the huge and influential continent and offer a rare glimpse into aspects that are not presented in the conventional media channels. Besides the unique cultural richness revealed in the films, the audience is exposed to the dreams, struggles, desires and beliefs of fascinating and humane black characters.
Most of the films are premiered nationally and distributed in Israel exclusively as part of the festival, and the screenings and festival events will be accompanied by lectures from experts and outdoor events.

★★ אטסיב! פסטיבל קולנוע אפריקאי #4 ★★
11-13 באוקטובר | תיאטרון מחול ענבל + מרכז אניס
הפסטיבל היחיד מסוגו בארץ שמביא אל המסך הגדול את מיטב היוצרים בסצנת הקולנוע האפריקאית העכשווית. מבחר סרטים שנוצרו על ידי אפריקאים ואפריקאיות מהיבשת והתפוצות יוקרנו לאורך שלושת ימי הפסטיבל, בהם סרטים מקונגו, גאנה, אתיופיה, האיטי, קניה, רואנדה ועוד.
הסרטים שיוקרנו בפסטיבל מאפשרים הזדמנות נדירה להתוודע אל היבשת הענקית והמשפיעה ומציעים הצצה נדירה להיבטים שאינם מוצגים בערוצי התקשורת המקובלים. מלבד העושר התרבותי הייחודי שמתגלה בסרטים, הקהל נחשף לחלומות, למאבקים, לרצונות ולאמונות של דמויות שחורות מרתקות ואנושיות.
מרבית הסרטים מוקרנים בבכורה ארצית ומופצים בישראל באופן בלעדי במסגרת הפסטיבל, ואת ההקרנות ואירועי הפסטיבל ילוו הרצאות מפי מומחים ואירועי חוצות.
