Asaf Amdursky, Shlomi Shaban and Yael Kraus sing the high windows at the Gesher Theater

In 1967, the only album of the High Windows Trio was released and changed the face of Israeli music forever. The album included perfect songs like:

“You Can not,” “Doll Zehava,” “Little Girl,” “All the Week to You,” “Noga,” and more, presented a new sound and painted a possibility for another, free and open Israel. Asaf Amdursky and Shlomi Shaban, two of the original and fascinating musicians working today, enter the tunnel of time and one evening they return the beloved and classical album to the stage, alive and kicking. Yael Kraus, who returned to Israel after a five-year stay in New York, will join the two. Yael, who took part in many musical projects (Panic Ensemble, Bossa and more) and grew up in the music of the High Window because of her family relationship, agreed to join the adventure with her one-time voice and Josie Katz’s original drum. The spectacular performance takes the familiar and beloved sound of the high windows and brings it to 2019 – and will incorporate other classics of Kraus, Einstein and Josie Katz.
