“Arieh Sharon: The State Architect” is the first comprehensive exhibition devoted to the work of one of the fathers of Israeli architecture. Sharon, a graduate of the Bauhaus School of Architecture, signed the first master plan for Israel prepared at the request of David Ben-Gurion, as well as more than 600 different projects – residential buildings, hospitals, university campuses, office buildings and more.
The exhibition presents his work in architectural and historical contexts, and discusses them critically.
