Get animated! Celebrate the beautiful and wonky creations of the most talented illustrators from Israel and around the world at theย International Animix Festival of Animation, Comics and Cartoons. The event kicks off next Tuesday withย Asifย @ Tel Aviv Cinematheque with a ceremony of music, mingling, pizza and beer to celebrate the local animated art. Animix 2021 starts the same day and goes until next Saturday August 14th with loads of cool screenings. Asif – Tuesday 10th August
Asif celebrates local work from the past year and aims to expose, share and promote the local animation industry and art.
Asif is part of the International Animix Festival for Animation, Comics and Cartoons, held at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque for 20 years, and serves as the main meeting point of the Israeli animation and design community.
Come and watch the best animation created in the country in the past year: independent films, student films, music videos, childrenโs films, commercial films, and even short films!
After the main ceremony we all met at the Cinematheque for music and mingling, beer and pizza as a gift from Pizza Hut.

Loopathon – Wednesday 11th August
Loops, the Association of Animation Professions (AR) and the Animix Festival are happy to invite you to a day of creation at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque!

How It Works?
โธ It is possible to register as singles or in pairs.
โธ Each team comes with equipment from home โ computers, synthetics, stop equipment, light table, whatever comes to mind
โธ Get directions, and start animating.
โธ Only eight hours will be available to you, from launch >> to render.
โธ Create loops of at least 2 seconds, according to the instructions you will receive on the morning of the event.
โธ Participation in pre-registration only, in the all-previous method wins.
โธ Deadline for registration: 3.8.21
Then what happens?
โธ The loops will be judged by our judging panel and the winning loop will be announced the next day, as part of the 2021 Harvest Awards Ceremony๐ฅณ
โธ There are prizes! (We will publish them real soon, but trust us โ they are equal)
An additional prize will be given to the audience favorite, who will be chosen by online voting.
