Africa comes to you with all its power in a celebration of Art and Beauty.
Wangji offers you an African event, a festival full of colors, art and live music that will tease your senses.
The event will take place on the top floor of the Cuckoo’s Nest.
A gallery with a number of rooms, allowing all this magic to happen simultaneously

LINE UP ♫
★ DJ SET OR BENBENISHTY ★
The event will be opened by Ben Benvenisti, a partner in the DJ baballa music band
DJ, producer, plays African electronic music, combining Latin and Arabic touches with elements from nature.

★ LIVE DANCE & AFRICAN GROOVE ★
These masters come straight from Ghana in an African drumming session and dancers and lots of surprises.
Crazy music from FI-HANKRA.

★ LIVE SHOW – HANDS & GROOVER ★
We will continue with a show full of grooves and African melodies. Original music with traditional influences that cause everyone to get up and dance.
Itai Reznik (Balafon) and Gilad Lev (Percussion) host Guy Resnick on bass.

★ DJ SET- ADI BAREKET ★
Amazing Adi will close the glittering event with exotic rhythms in a tribal and rhythmic set in her own style.

Fashion Show: LemLem Designs
LemLem is a fashion designer specializing in wedding and evening dresses. Her designs combine the Ethiopian tradition with contemporary design.
LemLem aims to preserve the tradition of Ethiopian embroidery design, combining modern clothing.
| MIREMBE |
Mirembe is a social initiative that was created to empower women from disadvantaged populations in Uganda. In addition, the project provides an ethnic alternative in fashion and lifestyle. The project includes employment alongside the empowerment and lessons that women receive on a regular basis five times a week, including a variety of skills relevant to daily life. The project acts as a nonprofit organization under the Topaz Association for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation.

MANU. COUTURE|
Manu designs women’s clothing and recently also designs handmade fimo earrings. The inspiration comes from her mother, who in the 1980s designed black and white fimo jewelry. Manu switched from the concept of “black and white” to gathering new sources of inspiration, including different tribes and cultures, incorporating modern urban forms and elements. The earrings come in several sizes.

Tal Aharoni, a talented artist, contributes to the event bringing a palette of colors

SHAYUKI |
Shayuki is a unique street fashion brand that is associated with African-American figures who are directly connected to the Eastern culture. The brand was founded by Shaiel Moalem, a 21-year-old artist from Tel Aviv, the shirt illustrator, together with a 21-year-old Michal Efrati from Rishpon. On the shirts you can see different figures with character and style of their own, inspired from the world of Shaiel.
