Africa – Opportunities for the 21st Century

TradeLinks, in cooperation with Urban Place, invites you to start thinking about Africa. In this meetup, which will be the first of its kind, we will offer an original approach to business opportunities on the African continent. We’ll address the fears which naturally occur when considering new and unfamiliar markets, and discuss cultural gaps to take into account when doing business with Africans.

The meetup will include a lecture by Chen Lev, an entrepreneur and business development consultant, and a former Israeli Ministry of Finance official. The lecture will cover the following:
The African Promise – why every business, startup, and investor should care about Africa
Myth vs Fact – Is doing business in Africa really as risky as some consider? Is it right for everyone?
Cultural Gaps – real-life incidents and ways to deal with them
