Haezor - 13 HaRechev St, Tel Aviv, 80 NIS

In the late 1970s, at the height of the punk revolution, a London band performed a sane voice of stylized songwriting, in contrast to everything that took place around it. Devoid of starlets, brought dire straITS something that music listeners around the world, who treated punk as nothing more than dirt under the nails of the seventies, expected and desired him. And perhaps it was precisely this anti-starlet that brought Dire Straits to the top of the music world in the 1980s. In the current performance, the Sultans of Swing will perform the best songs of tenant straits in a single-to-one performance alongside special live versions. The show is produced and led by Eyal Sugar for over a year in search of the right musicians, meticulous reconstruction of the original arrangements and the construction of the sound of the sound of the Straits.

The successful show has been running for over 10 years around the country and has attracted a crowd of die-hard Dire Stars fans as well as good music fans who have been “caught up” by chance. Among the typical reactions among the show’s viewers are phrases such as “I expected just another ‘cawer’ performance and got the closest thing the tenant could have.” [More than once heard by critical Derek fans].
