Cinema Nirvana: Are we at the end of the road?
The journey as the challenge of humanity A cinematic encounter with Prof. Yaakov Raz
Saturday, July 13 at 11:00 at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque

We seem to like apocalyptic stories that describe the end of the world. From ancient Jewish and Christian religious literature to a variety of modern books and films, it seems that man has not stopped writing stories about the end of man and the end of the world. Does the prophet, the writer and the poet see something that we do not see? Perhaps with his own hands brings man this journey called humanity comes to the end of the story? And maybe there is still hope? Perhaps the journey – the symbolic, the literary, the real – can bring hope, and a new way?
