ZOA invites you to a Chilean evening – Movie & Food

So … we started with a new tradition: Every month we choose a country, a film and food. After the success of the Indian evening and the Korean evening we continue with a Chilean evening!

We meet on February 19, 2019 and as usual we start from the stomach first at 19:45 with an authentic Chilean dish that you can choose right now, so you will come hungry because Paula and Antonio come to pamper you with the best of the Chilean dishes.

1. Large empanadas filled with meat
2. Salmon ceviche
3. Omits vegan (a kind of pancake made of corn, cooked and wrapped with corn)

And then, when your stomach is full, we will move on to the artistic part of the evening and watch the film: “Fantastic Woman” Fantastic Woman.

At 21:00, we will be screening the 2018 Academy Award for best foreign film. The death of her lover creates an identity crisis for Marina, which is exacerbated when the family of the deceased and the police suspect she had a hand in his death. Marina is a transgender who yearns to be treated as well as anyone else, but suspicious and hostile behavior in general and her family in particular cause the crisis. The director Sebastien LĂ©lio (Gloria, who loved my soul) created an eloquent and restrained film with an exciting acting show by actress Daniela Vega. Winner of three awards at the Berlin Film Festival.
