We are excited to invite you to a very special tribute night: For the MASTER – Ziad al Rahbani

For those who never heard of Ziad:-

Ziad al Rahbani is a Lebanese composer, pianist, playwright, and political commentator. His compositions are well known throughout the Arab world. Many of his musicals satirize Lebanese politics both during and after the civil war, and are often strongly critical of the traditional political establishment.

Ziad is the son of the Lebanese famous composer Assi Rahbani and Nuhad Haddad, the famous Lebanese female singer known as Fairouz.

Many of his musicals satirized the political situation in Lebanon during and after the civil war; some people even believe that he could forsee the war coming from far when he was young. Some of his other musicals addressed more philosophical as well as political questions.

We will play Ziad’s music LOUD & all night:

See you on Tuesday
