Gadi Ronen in the debut album “They Say It’s You”
Gadi (purple) Ronen, a musician who has been producing for more than 10 years, has participated in the ensembles: “Debeck,” “One Part One,” and in recent years the “Backyard” (ticking bomb, voice mail). Gadi collaborated with artists such as Yankele Rotblit, Eran Bar-Gil and many other artists in the fields of music, poetry and theater.
After years of joint work, Ronen felt that it was the right time for him to release a solo album in which most of the texts and melodies were his.
With the help of producer Uri Vinokur (Assaf Avidan, Lola Marsh, Angelsey and others), they created a personal album, but some of them were wonderful musicians: Gadi Peter, Itamar Ziegler, Tom South and many others.
From the media:
Ben Shalev – Haaretz Gallery:
“Thanks to bright melodies and thorny texts, Gadi Ronen is revealed as one of the best artists in independent music in Israel”
Yoav Kutner – Israel Today:
“Gadi Ronen is a talented musician, who until now has collaborated with other artists, and now he is releasing his first solo album”
Shai Lahav – Maariv:
“I think I heard the album of the year”
Amos Oren – Stage:
“Ronen’s debut album is a fascinating and intelligent piece that manages to excite both on the stage.” “Even when the songs are personal and private, they are at the same time public, correspond to the rule, illuminate our being and also scold it.” https://bit.ly/ Amosavorn The Stage
