Imagine trying to get a group of young insolent skateboarders to come to a yoga class! It seems almost impossible, but not for Roni Tal.
After meeting a group of German skateboarders in India and reconnecting with her love of skateboarding; and on this same trip working very closely with her own body to heal a scoliosis injury, Roni Tal had an idea of combining these two passions into something extraordinary. Over the last year, Tal began holding bi-weekly yoga sessions for skaters in Tel Aviv.
At first, Tel Avivian skaters came just to give it a shot, but now they are reaping the benefits of yoga exercise and what it provides for their body–it proves to be super beneficial to their skating.
