Like Toulouse-Lautrec before him, Israel’s Pilpeled started creative life making posters for parties and events. With a little less Parisian burlesque and a lot more monochromatic, urban Israeli cool; Pilpeled’s designs have become synonymous with the Tel Aviv art and design scene. The first ever Israeli designer to grace the glass of an Absolut Vodka bottle (with his creative flair), Pilpeled’s global reputation is growing and his collaborations are getting bigger. Alongside Pilpeled’s distinctive keyboard imprint, which he used to boost Rocknroller festival and Ramu Fortis’ latest album, Pilpeled’s latest endeavour is a Pop Up store at Tel Aviv’s very own Teder. The Pop Up store in Teder’s hidden room, will feature Pilpeled’s new clothing collection and a gallery showcasing some new prints and some exciting Pilpeled surprises. The Pop Up will take over the Romano house with a week-long special program being released very soon to Pilpeled’s eagerly awaiting fans.
Details: August 26 – September 1, Teder, 9 Derech Yaffo, Tel Aviv. Read more about Pilpeled here.
