Art is all about innovation, creativity and the new. Exhibiting art has come to reflect these standards and so it is no surprise when an exhibition is curated somewhere unexpected. However, the spots that are chosen come as a shock regardless as we suddenly see a space with little regard towards the arts transformed into a perfect platform to showcase up-and-coming artistic talent. Fresh Paint 7 is being put on at the start of November in Tel Aviv’s new city sports centre and with incorporation of the press room, referee rooms, gyms and even the dressing rooms – this unexpected makeshift gallery will surprise you with more than just the wealth of art on display.

The unique project was founded to serve as a catalyst for the many creative communities running through the country – providing designers, design lovers, artists and galleries to connect and collaborate. This year is looking to carry on this tradition with great success and leave a phenomenal creative impression on an already bustling scene.

This year Fresh Paint 7 takes us through a few theme-related projects as well as providing us with their fresh new ‘Greenhouse’ of 50 artists at the start of their careers. Award winning artists who are or have been exhibiting in museums across the country will be part of this ‘Greenhouse’ showcase – artists such as – Know Hope, Ido Michaeli and Ella Amitay Sadovsky, who were first brought to the attention of the public in Fresh Paint, as well as Dror Daum, Liav Mizrahi‎‏, Elham Rokni, Uriel Meron, Aharon Ozeri, Ohad Matalon and Iva Kafri.

Fresh Paint 7 will be held at The New Municipal Sports Arena At the Drive-In, Tel Aviv, between November 4-8.
