Growing up in a religious family, Tel Avivian menswear designer Eliran Nargassi questioned whether he could be a gay man and still fit into a Jewish religious lifestyle. Nargassi’s Spring-Summer 2017 collection is the perfect example of refined balance, allowing both religion and secularism to blend and creating a new harmony with the integration of these two worlds.
The new collection features garments that are elegant, clean and pure. The textile selection is carefully combined—with “subtle variations in forms of cotton, linen and other natural materials”—to emphasize the holiness of the Sabbath with a tailored and festive language. We are particularly crazy about the denim inspired theme, which creates a timeless sophistication. Written by Daniela Engelberg.
