Artport of Tel Aviv has earned its reputation as a leading artistic space in the White City, open to artists and the public alike to engage with contemporary Israeli art. As conversation continues about the ‘death of print’, Artport’s third annual Art Book Fair will deliver a counterpunch to the idea that people don’t care about the medium.
Artport’s book fairs draw thousands of visitors and it is rare for books to not sell out. This Book Fair has grown to highlight over thirty artist’s new works and hundreds of unique books—profits of which go directly into the pockets of the artists.
The selection of books is an extension of each artist’s practice. Artport joins the cadre of international art book fairs including MoMA PS 1, and will include a selection of under the radar international art magazines.
