Tel Aviv fashion week as just come to an end yesterday. It was a wild four days filled with glamorous shows, amazing clothes and late night parties. For each day I wore something else, saw a new collection and met different people. Below I break it down for you by each day and at the end I will tell you about some of my adventures throughout the week. It is kind of a long post but it’s worth the read. Hope you enjoy!

Day 1: Lilamist Dress

Day one was the gala where some of the Shenkar graduates showcased their designs. It was a special night because it was the opening all the celebrities were there. Bar Refaeli also modeled a dress for Shai Shalom and I wasn’t able to get a shot of it so I stole one from my friend Gaul’s Instagram:) My dress is from Lilamist- a local designer here in Tel Aviv who has amazing feminine flowy dresses, I felt like a little white fairy.

Look 2 : Free People Jumpsuit

On the second day I didn’t think I was going to go but my friend Arianna forced me out of the house so I threw on this jumpsuit I got on sale from Free People this summer. I absolutely love it- its backless so its a little scandalous but I think appropriate for this event especially because it was so hot in there. We saw two shows back to back. Shai Shalom which was very chic in neutral colors and clean silhouettes and then Tovale + Puma which was almost the exact opposite- a crazy mix of prints patterns and sequins (more my taste). Which do prefer?

Look 3: CASTRO Striped Pants

On Tuesday I came with my amazing photographer friend Ally Friedmann and she managed to get some cool shots of my outside the venue. My outfit is from CASTRO and I love to pair high waist pants with a crop top it gives the illusion of much longer legs (link to pants). The shows that day were by new designers who had really colorful and interesting prints- I really liked this look that mixed leather and embroidery.

Look 4: CASTRO Dress

Last and final day was an incredible show by Gideon and Karen Oberson. I absolutely loved every single look of their collection. It was a mix between bohemian, goth and chic in dark colors, velvet, satin and lace. Obsessed. If I had an occasion I would wear every single one of these dresses and look so glamorous. Too bad I never to go any red carpets. The dress and bag I am wearing are from CASTRO as well, I was going for a more 70’s vibe so I paired the mini dress with chunky suede ankle boots. Here are the link to both items (link).

Besides the shows and outfits, I met tons of amazing and talented people. On the Saturday night before the shows my friend and I met the photographer Adam from Le21eme and we went out in the city. He has an incredible blog and Instagram.. We were also the stars of his snapchat for the week:) Then I spotted the gorgeous model Shani Zigron that I’ve been following on Instagram after one of the shows. I just had to say hello and she was the sweetest thing ever! Love her, there’s an awesome photo of us above. I also met a lot of other Israeli fashion bloggers for the first time. Maya Shneiderman sat next to us during one of the shows and she is such a sweetheart, Orel Klayer and Tom from Miss Tommy were there, too. I also chatted with the blogger Anh Sundstrom from 9to5 Chic because we are both from San Francisco:)  Finally, my friend Arianna introduced me to Eviatar who is the boyfriend of Moti Reif, the organizer of the entire event. Such a cool guy! All in all, it was an experience I’ll never forget, and I can’t wait until the next fashion week in Tel Aviv! xx Karen
