June 10, 2018 | Israeli video platform startup Wibbitz has announced a collaboration with popular travel and tourism reviews website TripAdvisor to convert the American travel company’s articles into videos that promote travel to popular destinations, like Israel. Wibbitz’s innovative technology scans, analyzes, and transforms the text into a professional-quality video that is ready for publication. The video production process takes about 40 seconds, the company says. “We have adapted the system to be used by smaller content creators such as bloggers or brands and sports groups who want to produce video for distribution on the Internet without being dragged into high production costs and long delivery times,” said Yotam Cohen, CEO and co-founder. “In addition, public relations agencies in the United States have begun to use our technology to produce video for their customers, to adapt their activities to the present era that the media is based on video alongside traditional text and images. ” Wibbitz was founded in 2011 by Yotam Cohen and Zohar Dayan and has locations in Tel Aviv, New York, and Paris. The company creates video content for over 400 sites, including Bloomberg, Reuters, Forbes, and more.
