Twenty pharmacies will participate in the pilot program in the first stage of the roll-out, CTech by Calcalist reported. The program is part of a push to reform the regulation of medical cannabis led by the Israeli Health Ministry and approved in 2016. Patients with a medical cannabis license will soon be able to purchase products prescribed by their doctors at the local pharmacy instead of the few tightly regulated dispensaries.
