As soon as you enter this small and busy “street” cafe the aroma makes your taste buds go wild. Owned by the celebrity chef Eyal Shani, this was never going to be your standard “street cafe”, instead it is high quality food packed with the freshest and tastiest Israeli ingredients. The ever-changing menu scribbled on a piece of cardboard is full of interesting combinations of middle-eastern flavours. The staff are helpful and willing to explain every meal in detail whilst singing and dancing along to the lively Israeli music.

Although it seems expensive for a pita (40-50 shekels), it is worth every single shekel. Don’t forget to grab a handful of pickles and chilies along with some of their delicious tomato sauce before you sit down!
