One big spring holiday weekend coming up. I think I gave myself RSI just typing out all these parties that are going on! Loads and loads of stuff to choose from.
Red Axes @ Deli bar from 21:00. Electronic grooves.
Uriah Klapter / Narkis Tepler / Amir Egozy playing techno and house @ Breakfast Club from 22:00. Yovav Arzi at the adjoining Milk Bar.
Pasaz has local hip hop live shows from 22:00, followed by a Booty Call party with more hip hop / ghetto / nu school, both local and international. 30NIS before midnight so you can see the shows. 40NIS after.
The Block has a massive themed party that will apparently take you all the way back to ancient Egypt. Full line up here.
Comfort 13 has their psytrance night with Tsuyoshi Suzuki doing a DJ set, plus lots of local support. Tickets 40-60NIS if you get yourself on the list by contacting the Comfort 13 Facebook page or 80NIS on the door.
Hectik @ the Anna Loulou – very eclectic sounds, from North African music to psychedelic Middle Eastern grooves to ghetto bass. Free.
Two big parties at the Duplex club. One is Noise: an alternative rock / grunge / metal / EBM / goth / Industrial / you get the picture party across two of the spaces. From 23:30. Free chaser with every drink until 1:00. Tickets are 40NIS before midnight and 50NIS after.
At the same club, Derrick May (Detroit), DIY Tel Aviv’s personal hero, is headlining the summer season opening party by the Barzilay crew. Tickets 50NIS in advance and 70NIS on the door if there are any left. Buy tickets here and pick them up at the door with an ID.
Breakfast Club has Berlin’s Discoromo on the sweaty disco floor, with support from Poingi and Marzam. From 22:30.

At the Duplex from 17:00 – 1:00 Liberation fest, the grown up hippie party is celebrating spring with electro-swing, trance and eclectic beats. Yossi Swing Shauli, Sabbo and Nityam on the decks.
