Rappers delight with dope hip-hop shows this week!

It’s a great week for the hip-hop enthusiasts! Tonight is the launch of new record label Pele Rekordz @ Ahad Haam 70, on Saturday get real with emerging female MC Echo @ Barby, and on Tuesday hip hop legends Lucille Crew take over Kuli. Also this week, don’t miss an intimate performance from Riff Cohen @ Bustan (Sat); ALLSTARZ of Jazz @ Herzl 16 (Sun); the super-talented Stella Got @ Ozen Bar, Kosta Kaplan @ Barby, and Anat Moshkovski @ Teder (all Tues); Vitarti @ Barby and a rare performance from acid jazz band Men of North Country @ Ozen Bar (both Weds). Art fairs, clothing sales, and pop-up shops all week!

Support local businesses and pick up some cool things while you’re at it! Today head down to Neve Tzedek for an Art and Fashion Fair with workshops and talks from the local artists and designers. Tomorrow Hasod teams up with Soma Studio for an art fair + live music and empanadas; the amazing women from Kuchinate throw an opening party for their new pop-up shop in Gan Ha’ir with African music, a coffee ceremony, hair braiding, a knitting circle and more surprises; and check out Bicicletta for a fashionable second-hand sale + delicious cocktails (pic above)! MIDBURN MADNESS

With less than two months to go, check out loads of great camp events!

Fundraising parties are a great way to get into the Midburn vibe, meet awesome people, raise money for camps, and have fun! There are three big parties this weekend: Tonight the BurnGurion International Camp is hosting a fundraiser @ Panthera. Tomorrow the Midbass Camp has a huge launch party @ Hasharon 12 and tomorrow night, Camp Free Love has a sensual weekend with Liquid Love in Hod HaSharon. This weekend is party rockin!

It’s a crazy weekend for you weekend ravers! Kick things off tonight (Thur): Berlin club Watergate is partying in Tel Aviv, Collabo turns into ClubO for a night of hallucinations, Dive into Art Club with DEEPSEA, and go Psycho Myco @ The Block. Spend your Friday afternoon Raving @ Bavel! Saturday is packed: Hi at Noon @ phi garden, trip out with Monolink @ Ramat Gan National Park, a Rimon Showcase @ Sputnik, and Myco Music Label Night @ Bavel. Keep on reading for more fun events this week in Tel Aviv… Tonight Critical Mass takes to the streets on bicycles, Maze 9 kicks off a week of documentary screenings, and learn to Paint like Picasso @ the Tel Aviv Art Studio. Friday’s main event is a big communal kabbalat shabbat ceremony in the Namal (pic above). And on Sunday there’s a special event for the Pride Community with the screening of a new film about lesbian love in the 90s Israeli punk scene. Check out our website for more cool events.

Loads of great reasons to get out of our bubble this week

Talking about bubbles, Israel is going Beer Crazy! Today drain the taps of a Beer & Music Festival in Bat Yam; and next week find yourself in Hod Hasharon for a Beer + Food & Music Fest, or in Netanya for a Rockville Beer Festival (both start next Wednesday). If you’re looking for some food to go with your beer, head up to Herzliya this evening for the Good Food Festival. For something more healthy, the amazing Sraddha Yoga hosts a Yoga Retreat @ Mount Gilboa, or go meteor watching in the desert @ Kfar Hanokdim.
