Tonight our favourite Blues & Booz will be performing the iconic music of The Rolling Stones! With hits like “Satisfaction,” “Paint it Black,” and “Sympathy for the Devil,” the Stones’ music has stood the test of time and continues to inspire new generations of fans. Bonus: after the show, the legendary Blues jam session will begin, where local musicians are featured and participate in some good ole instrumental fun. It’s time to go outside for fun BBQs, music and dancing

For the religious amongst us, this is a celebration of the end of the mourning period of Omer, and a commemoration of the founder of Kabbalah Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai. For the heathens, it’s a great excuse to burn shit. Cheer on Noa Kirel on Tuedsay in her semi-final, the final is on Saturday

Eurovision is back, and this year we’re cheering on our Israeli star – Noa Kirel. She will perform her hit song “Unicorn”, a high-energy dance anthem that is sure to get you moving and grooving. Wednesday: Check out Iconic Israeli comic figure @ Dying Lake

Shushka is a cultural icon in Israel, a symbol of wit, irreverence, and creativity. Her comic strip has been published in numerous Israeli newspapers and magazines, and has been adapted into a television series and a series of children’s books. Check out Shushka’s collection at Dying Lake on Wednesday, where you can find anything from ancient sex education books to rubber dolls, movie posters to comics, fanzines to toys, and even local games and kitsch, there’s something for every collector’s heart. DOCAVIV IS BACK! 🎬

Documentary film festival returns this weekend, starting Thursday!

All you film fanatics, this week is for you! The 25th Docaviv International Documentary Film Festival starts on Thursday with over 200 screenings at 7 different venue around town. Docaviv is Israel’s largest film festival, and one of the leading documentary film festivals in the world. Most of the films this year will be shown at Cinematheque with special events at the Tel Aviv City Hall, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Cinema Canada, Cinema Anais, HaMigdalah, and Teder. Childhood favourite ‘You’re a good man, Charlie Brown’ starts Thursday

The Stage TLV, Tel Aviv’s home for performing arts in English, is proud to present its first full-length musical in over six years – You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! Join Charlie, Snoopy, and the entire Peanuts gang as they explore life’s great questions while playing baseball, struggling with homework, singing songs, swooning over their crushes, and celebrating the joy of friendship.
