COSTUME COMPETITION 👽
Win 10bis vouchers for the best costumes shared to the Group
This year we are really excited to team up with 10bis for a Special Secret Tel Aviv Purim Costume Competition. We know you all like to share your amazing costume creations in the Group – now you can have the opportunity to win a cool prize too! For your chance to win share your costume in the Group and we’ll pick winners based on number of likes – the best Costume will win 500 NIS and we’ve got prizes for runners-up too. THURSDAY 2ND MARCH
The Purim celebrations kick off tonight!
It’s not too late to find a costume – head over to Florentin for the Downtown Costume Market at Uriel 23. Once you’re kitted up, head over to Nefesh BNefesh for a free salsa party! For fun parties, check out the Midburn Party by the Artichoke Camp @ Duplex (pic above), Ozen Bar are hosting a Jungle Cruz, and for you all-night ravers there is a top lineup of DJs including Red Axes at the Out of Mind Purim Rave @ Gagarin. FRIDAY 3RD MARCH
Tomorrow’s main event is Bicicletta’s legendary Purim Party @ Kuli Alma
Start your day off the right way with volunteering at Ichilov Hospital kids ward with Chabad on the Coast. For cool daytime parties don’t miss Bicicletta’s famous Purim Fest at Kuli Alma (pic above) and next door Udi Tzabari hosts a party @ Bavel. SATURDAY 4TH MARCH
Dance your feet off at iconic street party @ Rosa Parks
Summer weather is finally in town, so go outside and get some vitamin D at the traditional Street Party @ Rosa Parks and there’s fun for the whole family at the Purim Party @ Sarona. If you’re still looking for that perfect costume – the Purim Fair at Cafe Kaymak is your saviour! For all you Magical Creatures, get your fairy dust ready for a Midburn Fairytale Purim party at Brasco; and for the disco lovers groove over to the SoulTrain Party at Collabo. Shake your booty with Malabi Tropical @ Kuli Alma
Sunday brings us two incredible concerts: feel summer vibes with Malabi Tropical @ Kuli Alma, and head over to Gagarin for a crazy line-up of musicians at Lama Ani Hai show. What’s gonna win – Hip-Hop or Dancehall? Find out at Dance Clash @ Radio E.P.G.B. Also Sunday, the desert is calling for an all night rave with Space Purim under the stars and moon at Masada! PURIM EVE – MONDAY 6TH MARCH
Dutch Purim Rave with Dubvision x Blastboyz @ Barby
Monday evening is officially Purim eve and the whole city is going to turn into one big party. Some of our favourite parties include: Abraham Hostel’s Legendary Purim Costume Party; there’s a Purim Carnaval at Mashbir; Myco & Ratzif star at Purim Odyssey @ Collabo; and feel nostalgic at the 1984 Party @ Ozen Bar. There are also two fun Pride Events with Kiki Ball @ HaGra and a drag show with Kex @ Levontin 7. More into raving? Megillah Readings
What’s Purim without Megillah Reading? There are some really fun events at the Tel Aviv International Synagogue, North Central Synagogue, the Masorti Congregation of Neve Tzedek, and for all young olims Tribe TLV waits for you at Ichud Olam with a free open bar! PURIM DAY – TUESDAY 7TH MARCH
Huge Daytime Parties at Park HaYarkon and Night and Day Club
Start your day off again the right way with volunteering at Ichilov Hospital kids ward. There are two huge outdoor daytime parties with Solar Purim at Park HaYarkon and the amazing Ukrainian DJ Korolova in a massive show at Desert Night and Day Club in Rishon LeZion. In the evening, put on your black eyeliner, studded belts and your favourite band t-shirts for an Emo Night at Ozen; get freaky with Orpheus Blade @ Hangar 19; and Latina Palestina are back at Atlas Shapira. WEDNESDAY 8TH MARCH
Happy International Women’s Day!
Today we’re celebrating International Women’s Day. This is a day to recognize the incredible impact that women have on the world and to highlight the importance of gender equality and inclusivity. Highlights include the Stunning Women’s Day Festival @ Kibbutz Galiyot 21; and Tribe TLV host a talk in English “Why is there still a glass ceiling for women in Israel?” at Cappella. THURSDAY 9TH MARCH
Get your costumes ready for another weekend of crazy Purim Parties!
Purim game is still going strong with one of the best raves of the week – Ravers of Israel present Kaaze and StadiumX at Barby. Also don’t miss Techno Purim mini-festival ADLOYADA at Collabo; the GameDev Community have their annual Purim GameDev meetup @ Spot Hostel; top bar Emesh are heading to the Namal for a huge Going Outside Purim Party; and take your Masks Off at Urban Purim Festival @ Gagarin. Get out of the bubble and head down to the desert for some nature festivals
Are you ready for a psychedelic weekend? Of course you are! There are three huge weekend Purim festivals in the desert – U.N.I.T.Y. takes you on a lucid dream experience to Yeruham Park for the Trilogy Festival; get ready for three days of bass music, international DJs, fire decorations and hallucinatory shows & arts @ Fusion Culture Purim Circus; and there’s an amazing line-up of psytrance DJs at the Miracle Purim Festival. FRIDAY 10TH MARCH
Street Parties and Ronit Farm’s famous Purim Party
This is one of our favourite days in the Purim Week! There are street parties at Ben Zion and Levinsky Market; Teder host a huge Purim Party throughout the day; the E-Boded crew are back with a daytime rave @ Haoman 17; and Ronit Farm host their famous Purim Festival (pic above). SATURDAY 11TH MARCH
Finishing Purim with the famous Zombie Walk
Finish Purim strong! Midburn’s Pancake Factory is taking over Bavel to throw a Purim Madness Party; legendary pride DJ Offer Nissim hosts his famous Purim Rave @ Expo TLV; Phi Garden throws Laundrette party with top DJs Lineup; and we’re closing this off with the Annual Zombie Walk starting at Ben Zvi and heading down Rothschild to terrorise the residents of Tel Aviv – get some costume inspiration from our favourite series “Last of Us’ or “Walking Dead”.
