It’s a party heavy weekend! Starting tonight News and GAVOA take over Gargarin for a techno party, D-TLV is bringing hip-hop vibes to Collabo yard, and be proud at Pushithard @ The Sub; tomorrow afternoon don’t miss Bali Thali’s Indian Urban Festival with food, music and work-shops @ Collabo; and on Saturday check out cool parties at Stax, The Hive, and Ozen Bar. Do your part for Earth Day

The experiences of the last 12 months have really shown how fragile our ecosystem is. We need to change the way that we consume, and encourage those around us to follow. Today is Earth Day, and there are some inspiring events organized by some really amazing people going on in Tel Aviv. Tonight take part in a cool project at Habima, where dreams and science will combine to create inspiring art; tomorrow morning join Plastic Free Israel and Trashtag for a beach cleanup in Jaffa; and on Tuesday join IDC’s Sustainability students for a fun educational event.

JAZZ’D UP

Get your scat on with loads of cool events this week

What a week for Jazz! The Red Sea Jazz Festival is back in Eilat this weekend (for hotels check our Eilat Hotel Guide). Closer to home, there’s something cool almost every night this week in Tel Aviv, including: tonight Miss Behave @ Terminal 4; tomorrow afternoon Afro Kan Roof Party and a Blues Jam @ Desire Bar; Sunday Argentinean latin jazz with the Gabriel Palatchi trio @ Beit Haamudim; and next Tuesday Blues Doctors @ Dancing Camel. Also, next Thursday our favourite ice-cream parlour Arte Glideria return with their weekly Thursday evening Jazz!
