TODAY (THURSDAY)

Start your weekend with some live music and parties! Tonight the Jazz Festival Continues @ The Tel Aviv Museum, Abraham host the Kutiman Orchestra for a huge show, and for something more intimate check out The Spot Festival – with 30 concerts in 30 living rooms across the city. Keep the party going with The Kaya Project @ The Block (pictured above), Tel Aviv Dub Station @ TEDER, DVS1 @ Gargarin, Alien Invasion @ Secret Location (shh), and Belgium’s favorite duo Pan-Pot @ Art Club. Tis the season to be shopping, with pop up markets all over the city! Pick up some clothes at the TLV Christmas Market @ Art Club, cacti at the Giant Cactus Fair @ Abraxas, vinyl at the Record Fair @ Dizengoff Center, art at the Pop up Art Gallery @ Yefet House, and new wheels at the Skate Sale @ DaSilva Boards. There’s also cool second hand markets at Com-munity, Shpagat, and Mabrouk. Also Friday, Discover TLV by foot with Run the City, meet local musicians at 12 Hours in the 30th Century Music Festival @ CCA, and bring in Shabbat Dinner with The Kerem House. SATURDAY

Get Festive with Winter Tale Performance for the whole family @ Terminal 4, Holiday Mashup @ Beit Dani, and TEDER are hosting a big Christmas Market. In the evening, Australian comedian Jim Jefferies is back (get 10% discount with Secret Tel Aviv), Israeli hiphop superstar Ravid Plotnik performs @ Reading 3, A Tribe Called Mulu rise up @ Phi Garden, Camel Riders and Funkamel get groovy @ Mondo, get a taste for Brazil with Roda de Samba @ Ala Rampa, and Barby host the 420 Hip Hop Awards. POSTS OF THE WEEK!

The last couple of weeks we’ve had a bit of everything! Funny observations from around the world include Annette’s banana (almost as expensive as the real thing), the Adidas Rabbi, a cool Hanukkah sign, funny registration plates (lbriut and benzona), protection for parking tickets from the rain (thanks Iryah!), and a hilarious Google Translate mistranslate. There were also beautiful photos from Ella of some cute ducks, Shahar of a fluffy dog, Gil of some angry clouds, Dekel of some cool architecture, Yoav of some surfers, and of course great photos from community favorites Niv and Yosi!
