FUN CONCERT TONIGHT 🎺
Soviet-Balkan Hip Hop concert with Pulkes and Tapash @ Kuli Alma
Get ready to jump tonight with a crazy concert at our favourite bar Kuli Alma! Balkan band Pulkes team up with post-Soviet hip hop artist Vadim Mechona, with support from Druze rapper Tapash! Entrance is free, the mayhem starts at 9pm. More details and more concerts on the Secret Tel Aviv website.

Blues and Booz weekly blues jam has a special Jimi Hendrix show tonight
Blues and Booz celebrate one of the greatest guitarists of our time with a special Jimi Hendrix tribute show tonight at Bavel. From “Purple Haze” to “Hey Joe,” you’ll hear all your favorite Hendrix hits played with the same passion and energy that made Jimi a legend. YOM HASHOAH TOMORROW 🤍
Tomorrow evening and Tuesday day is Yom HaShoa in Israel
Tomorrow night (Monday) and Tuesday we commemorate Yom Hashoah, the Israeli Holocaust Remembrance Day. It comes at a very important time – as the country is more divided than ever, this is a timely reminder of why we need a united homeland. Tomorrow night all shops, bars and restaurants will be closed so plan ahead, and on Tuesday morning at 10am there will be a siren for two minutes. There are also lots of commemoration events and talks with survivors – check out the amazing initiative Zikaron BaSalon to find an event near you (registration required). WINE WEDNESDAY IS BACK 🍷
One of our favourite places to meet new people
We are so excited! Wine Wednesday returns on Wednesday to the Social Space in Kikar Atarim. Founded by three olim, Wine Wednesday is an excuse to drink good Israeli wine with friends (both old and soon-to-be) while raising money and awareness for important grassroots projects in Israel. Join a huge meditation at Habima Square on Wednesday
Join the Radical Meditation this Wednesday at Habima, and come together to support democracy in Israel. The meditation practice is peaceful and transformative, providing an opportunity to unite minds and hearts in support of this important cause. On Friday evening our favourite international community Kerem House joins loads of other great organisations for a record-breaking Communal Shabbat dinner at Hangar 11. Loads of events this week to celebrate International Earth Day next Saturday
Tel Aviv is going Earth Day crazy this week with loads of great events! Starting today (till 24th April) the Dizengoff Center hosts an eco-conscious shopping pop-up market; on Friday morning there’s a huge Vegan Earth Day March down Rothschild; and on Saturday Clean the Butts team up with Sputnik for an Earth Day Party with an eco-market, inspiring workshops, an exciting art exhibition, and cool DJs. You can also head up North for a 3-day Nature Party starting on Thursday with Eco Freako and the Green Tribe. More environmental events on our website.
