Legendary Ukrainian rock band return to Tel Aviv
Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy perform tonight at Hangar 11 as a part of their Help for Ukraine Tour, with proceeds going to humanitarian aid for children, medical institutions, and defenders of Ukraine. Okean Elzy have been a driving force in the Eastern European music scene for over two decades. It’s a great week for live music in Tel Aviv! Tonight get into Yemeni groove with Yemen Blues @ Barby, Israeli legend Dudu Tassa rocks out at the Charles Bronfman Auditorium, and Tel Aviv local Israeli Druze rapper Tapash takes over Kuli. Tomorrow The Crotches have a cool show at Kuli Alma with Klezmer, Balkan, and Gypsy music infused with a punk rock attitude; and the Degibri Big Band jazz out at the Charles Bronfman. Celebrate the Irish way on Friday with Guinness and Irish music
Over the years St Patricks Day has become an established holiday in Tel Aviv, and a great excuse for an afternoon of drinking Guinness and hanging out with friends. Tel Aviv’s main Irish pub Molly Blooms has been leading the way, and returns again on Friday afternoon for another huge party. Also on Friday the Shnitt Brewing Company host a St Patrick’s Day themed party; and in the evening Kerem House invites you to a Paddyâs Day Irish food and drink Shabbat dinner. Community-based travelling art museum Zumu has a new floating exhibition this weekend at Park Hayarkon – or the Yarkon River specifically. The unique floating exhibition starts tomorrow and features 15 rafts filled with original art pieces created by talented students from all over Tel Aviv.
